About La Chouette
Modern, sophisticated French dishes taking inspiration from the traditional roots of the Burgundy region await discerning foodies at La Chouette on Alexandra Street in Hunters Hill. A stylish ambience of white-clothed tables, sandstone and a light green colour palette sets an elegant vibe for intimate dining with your special someone, while a large wall wine rack promises ideal pairings to the menu. Say merci to entrées of lightly cured kingfish, saison fruit and vegetable salad, crème fraiche, finger lime and chilled basil oil; before mains of duck breast, beetroot barigoule, baked shell pasta, plum and red wine sauce. Perhaps baked veal cutlet entices with thyme, garlic, red wine sauce and French fries; finish with a decadent dessert of lemon tart, white chocolate mousse and ice cream.
