About Longplay Bistro
Longplay Bistro on Pirie Street in Adelaide’s CBD is the summation of the things we enjoy – a casual, sometimes rowdy environment in which to eat good bistro food, drink great wine and listen to records with friends and family, Embrace the sense of being at a friend’s house for a dinner party – a friend who happens to be a great Chef, has a thoughtfully curated collection of records and a deep cellar – as you peruse a carefully executed menu of grazing plates and larger offerings. Kick things off with Coffin Bay oysters and mignonette, or chicken liver parfait, currants and brioche; before venison tartare and house crisps and King George whiting, silver beet, beurre blanc and sides of radicchio and shoestring fries with garlic mayonnaise. Pasta lovers opt for pappardelle with ragu bianco.

Amazing food and beautiful atmosphere, the vodka pasta dish is up there with one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. Owners and staff are super friendly and have an amazing knowledge on wines.
Welcoming and cosy. Delicious food.
Our favourite place, whether for a meal, or an aperitif at the lovely long bar. After a Saturday evening dinner, we were still taking about their Green Risotto and Vodka Pasta the next morning. We had a to-die-for chocolate mousse and best-ever affogato for dessert. Great wine list.
My new favourite place.
Comforting deliciously with elegant execution!
