Fresh produce cooked so do well
I’ve been before and enjoyed what I had. Today I went with an American friend and decided to go with a little Italian starter (I don’t mean our waiter Italian, long hair, beard very Jesus like) (after zucchini fritters to nibble on while our entree was being made) of the salami’s platter. Prosciutto, Finicciona, cacciatorini & char grill toasted & oiled focaccia bread. OMG those meats with the toasted bread unbelievable palette pleaser.
Not being a seafood person I had a sirloin steak cooked on the char grill to perfection. My friend went for the cioppino a seafood stew served in a cast iron pot placed in front of you at the table. They lift the lid and an array of beautifully char grilled seafood appears from a bellow of steam when the lid was lifted. From the look and utter silence until he had finished the dish was enough to know he enjoyed it as much as I had my steak. Back to Italy for dessert. Johno our waiter said the chefs name was Dianna who made the desserts and my goodness does she make desserts. I had panna cotta and my friend tiramisu (served individually in a glass) both absolutely delicious. Neither of us are drinkers but our water was topped and our table attended to with professionalism and good humour. Overall we couldn’t really fault a thing.
I’ll be back. He’s gone back to the US.
And they kept the table I’d requested.
Thanks guys
