The open lasagne was breathtaking - it was one of a kind! Conveniently located close to Petersham train station and with plenty of parking in the area, the Noi restaurant offers modern Italian dishes of immaculate conception and refined taste. The menu is limited to about twenty offerings. Noi’s patrons are not overwhelmed with an endless array of unnecessary choices. In other words, Noi’s menu tells customers: what we do, we do exceptionally well. Yet, from Noi’s extensive wine menu, the Aperol Sprits delivers what is promises. On the main menu, Noi’s innovative and divine lasagne goes well the beyond traditional Italian cuisine. Noi’s very modern “open lasagne” comes with green parsley sauce, home-made pasta, and a delicious pork filling. Similarly, Noi’s superb duck leg is accompanied by a most interesting looking wattle seed potato rosti. Both dishes are culinary highlights. At the end of our evening, the (very reasonable) payment is further sweetened with two pralines. On a normal Friday evening, the trendy Noi was busy. It appeared to be even a bit on the noisy side of things. Yet, the friendly staff makes you welcome and the realisation that they have ran out of the sardines, on the starter menu, was acceptable. All in all, Noi’s exquisite cuisine makes the Noi a “let’s go back” kind of place. Well done, Noi.
