A little Trip through Italy.....
Ormeggio, in Italian it means moorings, I think it should translate to exceptional food and service. I visited Ormeggio at the beautiful D’Albora Marina at The Spit in Mosman and wow what a backdrop! With a large selection of menus on offer, we chose the “a little trip through Italy” menu, and it was sensational. From the first bite of the ocean trout “alla catalana,” through to the finale, the “tiramisu in textures.” The journey through the menu was a continual presentation of art and produce combining to simply making you want to grab your phone and book the next flight to Italy. Chef Alessandro Pavoni, with his strong accent, sounding as if he just stepped off a plane from his mother country, is exactly what you would expect from such a passionate Chef, with deep ties back to Italy, and its shows in all his food. Our wine matching on the night was made simple by great informative staff and perfectly selected pairings. Thanks guys for the experience, I recommend visiting Ormeggio for yourself.
