Tucked on Erskine Street in Sydney's CBD, Pappy's Bar is a cool and intimate vintage small bar spread across a charming three-storey terrace — a characterful and deeply nostalgic destination where American diner-styled food meets Australian craft beer, wine and cocktails in the heart of the city. Established in 2021, Pappy's draws its name and spirit from a man born in Carmichael, Mississippi in 1915 — a life lived entirely through the prohibition era that shaped American culture and cocktail history in equal measure. The 1920s were the roaring decade that refused to be silenced, and at Pappy's, that same rebellious, celebratory energy is alive and well with a thoroughly modern twist.
