Sitting at a window table, with a view across the water towards Port Adelaide, creates a lovely atmosphere in which to enjoy lunch. We chose to skip the Tappas/Entree and went for a main. There were an number of choices that we mulled over before choosing the Slow Roasted Porchetta. The meat just melted in your mouth and the crackling was 'perfect!'. With four slices of pork plus vegetables, it was a good serve on its own, but we added the Orange and Haloumi Green Salad, which was a perfect match to the main. Instead of the starter we opted for dessert. Not many to choose from, but I had the Tiramisu. Served in a tulip glass, it looks stunning, but was heavy on the cream and lacked the alcohol syrup one would expect. Still, it went well with the tasty Coffee. My sister had the Chocolate and Hazelnut Pudding, which was a little heavy in texture. Tasty, but not light like you'd expect from a pudding. The venue was not overly busy, but is obviously popular, with a casual, relaxing atmosphere. Our waitress was polite, available, but not fussy. Perhaps the prices are a little high, not a place you'd go regularly, but certainly worth the occasional visit, and compares well with similar modern places. If you're quick, you can get a carpark adjacent to Portabello, otherwise, you need to walk about 300 metres, which can be unpleasant in certain weather. Definitely, worth another visit, and a great plus for Port Adelaide
