There’s something fishy going on at RST Seafood Restaurant on Rae Street in North Fitzroy and it has diners hooked, line and sinker. With a casually elegant dining room, crisp white tablecloths and sparkling chandeliers, this venue is casual enough for families and proper enough for all-comers. Diners can choose from an evolving menu with starters like crispy soft-shell crab with avocado salsa, or Moreton Bay bug tails with honey and sesame seeds. In keeping with an ocean-to-plate philosophy, fresh market fish, bugs, prawns, crayfish and scallops will tempt, served grilled or pan-fried; or delve into a plate of potato gnocchi, lobster tails, Champagne and chive sauce, finishing with chocolate and raspberry fondant and ice cream.

Great food for sharing
This restaurant has been around for a while. They have a great menu but it works best if you go with at least 4 people and you ask for the recommendations and share. The food is excellent, a great ambience and friendly efficient service. We have been many times over a number of years and have never been disappointed.
