About Rubber Duck
Housed in Clifton Hill's old Normandy Hotel, the charming Rubber Duck café is Paul Vernuccio's latest venture. Situated in bustling Queens Parade, this friendly local is an effortless mix of refinement and quirkiness – think polished timber tables and a tiled counter blended with quirky duck graffiti on its walls and an Astroturfed roof with figurines of baby ducks following their mother. Di Bella-supplied coffees are loved by locals as is the cheerful and attentive service. For breakfast, it's hard to go past dishes like cheddar toasted muffins with bacon, poached eggs and caramelised onion as well as the corn fritters with bacon, tomato and avocado salsa and coriander yoghurt. Don't forget to give the gluten-free mini carrot cakes topped with white chocolate and pistachio a go too.
