Great restaurant
Excellent food and wine list, lovely ambience and friendly staff.
We were delighted to enjoy flowers with Riesling, scallops with Tupelo, belly with Chardonnay, cheeks with Chianti and rib eye with Shiraz. A degustation prepared with such finesse and a memorable experience which will resonate for the rest of our winter
Of all the places I've dined, Rubicon has to be my absolute favourite. Despite being a busy night, my wife and I were made to feel like the only patrons in the restaurant. One of the main things that keeps us coming back is the menu. A lot of high level restaurants we've been to only have the one vegetarian option for entree/main. Rubicon has several, so my wife isn't restricted in what she can eat. Each dish we have tried has been a triumph. I was close to licking the plate, fearing that I might otherwise lose the memory of the flavours. Will definitely head back!
