This family-owned restaurant dishes up fare from Northern Italy, often considered the country’s culinary heart, including handmade pasta temptations, accompanied by the perfect wine from some of the lesser-known grape varieties. Say grazie to starters of crostini with ragu Bolognese and shaved Parmesan, or tomato bruschetta; before twirling your fork around spaghetti carbonara with pork cheek, egg yolk and cheese, or ricotta and parsley tortelloni with butter and sage. Sweet tooths make sure to leave room for hazelnut chocolate pudding, or traditional panna cotta.
