About Ryne
Born out of recipes perfected over many years, Ryne on St Georges Road in Fitzroy North celebrates Chef Donovan Cooke’s illustrious career. With a name meaning a course continuously moving forward, this smart restaurant exudes charm with exposed brick, polished concrete, wooden ceiling beams and white-clothed tables setting the scene for a memorable culinary journey. Think entrées like slow-roasted quail, red cabbage, blackberries and celeriac, or charred mackerel, beetroot, horseradish, radish and dill; before tantalising mains such as olive oil confit Ora King salmon, Spring Bay mussels and braised baby gem lettuce. Be sure to leave room for decadent desserts of chocolate soufflé, bananas and caramel ice cream; or pair a cheese selection, brioche, lavosh and figs with a glass of Port.

Very Excellent Service
We have to say, We enjoyed every single bite of the meal in RYNE. We had a 3 course meal, with a couple of drinks. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out or even lunch. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. Thanks to Chef Donovan Cooke for giving us the opportunity to eat with our friends. It was indeed a great weekend with a perfect lunch
Amazing food and service
Best food experience
Modern French at its finest
the technique, flavours, ambience and creativity is nothing short of amazing at Ryne! for the best experience, choose the tasting menu to really see the technique and how ingredients are used quite cleverly. When Donovan's food comes out on the table, I can't help but feel the appreciation and respect that speaks to me from the way he presents his food. I get excited at the thought of going to Ryne, as I know there will be something different for me to try as he is always changing things up on the menu.
A must to go. Food and service to die for
