About Shaffa
A feast for the senses awaits at the end of a narrow laneway, tucked in between two heritage-listed sandstone buildings, at Shaffa on Albion Street in Surry Hills. This inviting Middle Eastern restaurant is inspired by fragrant, lively markets and serves beautiful share-style plates; step into a moody vibe of exposed brick, velvet banquettes and an open kitchen offering a glimpse of Chefs in action. Embark on a memorable culinary adventure with seared scallops, sujuk, capsicum coulis, thyme and pine nuts; followed by grilled beef sirloin, herbs, Panko crust, tomato and shallot salad and chermoula. Perhaps snapper, tabouli, barberries, cherry tomatoes and arak butter tempts; finishing indulgently with chocolate mousse, hazelnut praline, mascarpone, salty cocoa soil and halva crumb cocoa.
