Exceptional Flavour Adventures - Degustation Food and Whisky Experience
Table by Canberra Gourmet were magnificent hosts for our Scotch Malt Whisky Society tasting dinner. Wow! Just brilliant, exceptional, uplifting! Chef Thomas Heinrich and his cheerful team gave us a sublime flavour experience, with degustation dishes that had been expertly matched with the flavour profiles and tasting notes for the whiskies we enjoyed. I expected great things based on my previous experiences there, yet the SMWS members attending and myself were just blown away with the clever harmonised flavour combinations and textures, aromas, presentation - it was our best food and whisky tasting experience for years! The team's efforts to bring exceptional new experiences to us were magnificent. I also appreciate them adjusting the room layout to give us an immersive convivial group experience, top atmosphere and setting for our Cellarmaster's Grand Tour of Speyside tasting and presentation. Chef Thomas was enthusiastic about how stellar drams can elevate dining experiences. Well done and sincere thank you for our fantastic night and culinary adventures.
Amazing place!
My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience last night at Table. I loved the kangaroo tartare and my husband loved the mushroom soup. We will for sure come back again if we ever visit Canberra again in the future.
