Located on the ground floor of the Ardo Hotel and with the bright lights of Tokyo as a muse, Terasu offers a lively take on casual Japanese dining that packs a punch, delivered in stylish surrounds with beautiful Coral Sea views from the balcony. Sip a Tokyo Glow cocktail with sake, ginger liqueur, vodka, yuzu jelly and grape as you peruse a lunch menu plating up sushi, sashimi and nigiri choices, along with tempura soft-shell crab, ponzu and wasabi tartar, or devour a fried duck bao with pickled cucumber and hoisin. For dinner, start with salmon nori tacos, with sushi rice, avocado salsa and pickled daikon, before savouring poached crayfish, mixed seaweed and yuzu pearls.

I will always have Japanese cuisine when I travel somewhere else from Townsville. I don't need to do that anymore! Terasu is great at what they do. The view and the service made it even better ????

The experience that we had at Terasu was exceptional. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and have an outstanding knowledge of their products and services. Costco guided us through the menu and helped us make food and wine selections based on our tastes. The food was exceptional, the staff amazing, the overall experience truly memorable.
