The Chippendale Hotel on Abercrombie Street, known lovingly by Sydneysiders as The Chippo, has transformed into Australia’s first fully vegan pub. Find more just a new lick of paint in this transformation, there will also be indoor pub seating as well as the bright and sunny courtyard guests have come to know and love. Helmed by Bhavani Baumann – aka Mama B – expect a bistro menu with all the Aussie favourites such as chicken parma, bangers and mash, fish and chips and burgers that satisfy even the most die-hard meat eaters - diners can even grab a classic Sunday roast. New menu items such as a vegan cheese platter and caviar waffles are sure to entice, along with burgers such as the Aussie with Lot – patty, cheese, tomato, onion, beetroot, grilled pineapple, lettuce, BBQ sauce and bacon.
