For a decadent a la carte dining experience, treat loved ones to an experience at The Cottage restaurant on the main street of rural town, Scone. Housed in what was originally the old Scone Rural Lands Protection Board cottage, touches of old world charm remain throughout a maze of dining rooms, while a tree rimmed courtyard provides space for unwinding in warm sunshine and ambient dinner garden parties. A wine bar atmosphere complements a menu of sumptuous plates designed to share, with small serves like country style venison and pistachio terrine with cornichons and sourdough and larger portions such as crisp master stock pork belly with aromatic salad and sweet chilli sauce. Be sure to taste desserts such as deconstructed lime cheesecake with raspberry sorbet and caramelised figs.

Well Worth a visit!
We had forgotten that fine dining existed! Couple of pensioners staying at Scone and we thought we would treat ourselves to a night out. The Cottage was continually recommended and she did not disappoint! The meat, steak & lamb was melt in the mouth, the mash just so silky and vegetables cooked to perfection. The service from the lovely girls could not fault. Thank you to the chef and staff for making our night so special. Dee & John
