The Dining Room restaurant on Arthurs Seat Road in Red Hill does regional dining right. Nestled in Lancemore Lindenderry Red Hill vineyard, this refurbished destination is the ideal spot to enjoy long, languid lunches or cosy dinners by the fire sipping a glass of estate wine. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite the outside in as you gaze over manicured gardens and lawns from reeded glass and curved-back chairs, while pondering a menu showcasing gourmet local produce; perhaps start your culinary journey with confit King Ora salmon, Granny Smith apple, celeriac, leek foam, watercress and truffle. For the main, delve into Roaring Forties lamb loin, braised lamb shank, peas, crispy goats’ cheese and shallot tarte tatin, or pan-fried John Dory, tomatoes, kaffir lime sauce and zucchini flower.

With experienced hospitality professionals Julian Morgan as the restaurant manager and Tony Brazendale as the executive chef, you can rest assured you're in capable hands. Tony brings his expertise from a Michelin-starred kitchen at the Chester Grosvenor, a place he cherishes dearly. Now, he's sharing his culinary mastery with us here at Lindenderry.
The chef's set menus are ever-changing and could include Alesbury duck, Cape Grim black Angus, or seafood, perhaps kingfish or crab. The thoughtfully curated winelist offers something delicious to delight all palates, from Lindenderry's own award-winning wines to other Peninsula favourites and an appealing international selection. There are rare vintages to splash out on, as well as excellent options that won't break the bank.
In the elegant dining room with endless views of the mature gardens and grape vines, you'll be treated to service that's all about creating a memorable experience without being fussy or over the top. From the pacing of the courses to talking through the wine selection, Julian and his team are skilled and respectful in providing genuine hospitality.
