Too hard to choose from the great menu list Today was a lucky day, the Malaysian was shut so we tried The Indian Street. Our hostess was Khush, which means "happy". She was a delight and guided us through the menu. We overordered so to take some home as it all looked so good and we couldn't decide. The main was the Mixed Tandoori, with chicken, lamb and beef all well marinated and flavoursome. I have a very old favourite Dumm Aloo, a potato dish and it was exciting to have such and interesting fill spices presentation. I chose the biryani as an good Indian restaurant always has a good biryani and this one did not disappoint. Lastly I tried a Paneer Naan cheese and garlic, not sure what I would get. Take a look at the photo, it was as good as in the photo. For a drink I explored a new one; a Salted lassi, . Made with salt, fresh mint, cumin and a hint of green pepper with a base of yogurt topped with sparkling water. Not thick like a mango lassi, a Salted Lassi is totally a new addition to my culinary mind.
