Food was tasty but...
Went there on Friday night, about 5:30, not very busy, ordered at the bar a half chicken and chips, the lady repeated back to me the order, I confirmed and added a drink, she seemed more concerned about where I would sit, I pointed to a table near the glass doors that hadn't been cleared yet, buy the time I got my drink and number on a stick, made me wonder why she wanted to know which table? By the time I got to the table three women had taken it, I explained to them I just ordered for this table which they replied "oh sorry" but didn't want to move from the table, directly under a heater. which is why I wanted the table because a friend was to meet me there who has cancer but unfortunately didn't arrive due to feeling poorly, so I sat on a bench closer to the live music, which was pleasant ,except the fire pit was barely burning and creating far to much smoke, not pleasant. Anyway, the food found me, a small quarter chicken and chips with half a plate of slaw, I told her this is not what I ordered, "sorry I'll check" she said and left the food, she didn't come back, so I ate what was there. When finished a guy comes to get my plate, enquires as to did I like it, I explain that I ordered a half chicken and chips not what I got, he goes "not to worry I can fix that" comes back with another quarter of chicken and gravy and a big bowl of chips with garlic tartar sauce, very pleased, but should have happened with the first women that gave me the wrong order, over all nice place, tasty food, let down by some staff and drill some holes in the fire pit to get air flow so people don't get smoked out...
