This Clare Valley dining destination has a covered verandah with brightly coloured chairs and recycled timber tables, while indoors a curved bar promises cheeky drinks to go with memorable meals. Begin with signature handmade potato and cheese pierogi dumplings with onion and butter sauce; before mains such as lamb cutlets seared with lemon and garlic, served with house pickles, pita bread and pomegranate reduction. Pizza lovers can pick up a slice topped with pork and fennel sausage, red onion jam, tomato sugo and mozzarella, or salami, olives, tomato sugo and mozzarella. For a sweet finish, try Dutch waffles.

Caity and Christian Uppill met 20 years ago whilst working in the hospitality industry, leading them to
own and operate an Italian Restaurant in Hampstead Gardens, Adelaide.
Growing and expanding upon their experiences, they now bring you
The UPPside (name play on their surname, Uppill).
Transporting you to Europe and bringing to your table some of the best cuisine
that the continent has to offer, utilising fresh produce grown on site, at their family farm
and Clare Valley suppliers.
Christian grew up in Clare where he completed his apprenticeship as a Qualified Chef.
He now showcases 30 years of culinary experience, where he developed a passion for
European food and a love for hand-made, home-grown produce.
His menu is based around this and features seasonal changes.
Caity has a passion and love for wine. Caity's love grew from when she indulged in a glass
of wine as Christian cooked her dinner throughout the years.
Caity has selected only local wines that pair perfectly with the menu, so you too can now have
a glass of wine as Christian cooks dinner for you.
