Hidden behind a steel door disguised as a bahn mi cart is Sydney’s newest hidden gem, Vinabar on Kent Street in the heart of the city. This Vietnamese-inspired micro-bar is set in a space no bigger than two car spots and aims to deliver on its tagline of ‘small space, big dreams’. Located within the YCK Laneways precinct, Vinabar is one of a handful of Sydney venues open until 2 am every night serving good vibes, impeccable service e and one-of-a-kind cocktails, along with signature baby banh mis. Choose exotic cocktails such as Fungus Among Us – shiitake and orange zest-infused bourbon with sugar and hopped grapefruit bitters – or the Gaslighter with mezcal and 1800 tequila. Appease hunger with a pork roll with chilli and coriander, or hot and spicy shrimp sriracha chilli rice noodles.
