The newly renovated Woodstock Kitchen at Carousel Inn showcases inner-city gastropub food in a relaxed and casual environment. Just a short walk from the Mount Druit Town Centre, the kitchen is headed by Chef Andrew Gillard who has had 20 years of industry experience, including a stint under Neil Perry. With all dishes being made fresh on-site from scratch using the freshest ingredients, the menu is full of modern interpretations of pub classics – think grilled chicken breast topped with king prawns, avocado and Béarnaise sauce, for example. A $10 dinner menu featuring favourites such as the chicken schnitzel and chargrilled 250g beef rump is also available on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Very friendly with a great value menu. Asked for extras with my meal and the happily accommodated. Definitely coming back again. Keep an eye on the specials board as some old favourites turn up.
