About Yaring Thai Street Food
Mitcham diners sample street fare with flair at Yaring Thai Street Food on Mitcham Road. Named for the hometown of owner Anna, Yaring delivers authentic flavours and recipes in light and bright surrounds, dominated by a wall mural depicting life on the streets of southern Thailand. Take flight with roasted duck pancakes, cucumber, Asian herbs, pickled chilli and hoisin nam jim; or classic Thai fishcakes, mixed salad, tomato and red nam jim. Steak lovers won’t go past Crying Tiger – BBQ Scotch fillet, mixed salad and spicy sauce – while the Chef’s selection Massaman curry, with six-hour braised lamb shoulder, pineapple and potato entices, best enjoyed with steamed rice and roti. Seafood lovers are satisfied with a smooth curry, swimming with King and Tiger prawns, mussels, squid, and fish.
