Subtle oak influence and gentle handling of the wine in the winery has allowed the vineyard and regional characters to show through. Petit Verdot lends a lovely fragrance to the wine which entices you, and the cabernet component has given the finish of this wine a great structure, which matches perfectly with food, making this wine an ideal accompaniment for a long lunch, or even longer dinner. The 2007 Shiraz 93 point rating & 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon which has been given a James Halliday 92 point rating are both highly recommended.
