Reserve a day to taste award-winning wines featured in some of Australia’s finest restaurants and pay a visit to Nazaaray Estate Winery’s boutique cellar, located near Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula. Step into a rustic shed and warm your hands over a potbelly stove before tasting and learning about Nazaaray’s family owned artisan wines, made from hand-harvested grapes and produced completely on site. Located in a cool climate wine region, focus is given to Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grape varietals with red wines cellared before they are released for sale. Take the opportunity to sit back and relax with a glass of wine and soak up views over rolling vineyards on an elevated glass enclosed deck after exploring inside two vintage red rattler train carriages dating back to the 1930s.

Delightful single vineyard wines made on site in Flinders, Mornington Peninsula
Nazaaray Estate Winery occasionally stages a Tiffin Buffet lunch featuring culinary delights from India, including Tandoor treats made on site. I visited for one of these feasts and was delighted with the huge array of courses and to find how well their handcrafted wines matched with the different spices in the food. A unique learning and fun experience!
