The Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park is traditionally known for its five-star stays. However, this Spring patrons are invited to get back to bare (or should that be bear) necessities - and pop in for a paws-itively unforgettable High Tea experience at the iconic Elizabeth Street Hotel.

In addition to the opportunity to purchase a hamper packed with snacks (and an exclusive Sheraton Build-A-Bear) so you can enjoy a real-life Teddy Bears Picnic at neighbouring Hyde Park, guests can also make a reservation at one of the Sheraton’s legendary High Teas for a Teddy Bear takeover full of food, fun and fuzzy feelings.
Whether you opt for a classic High Tea (served tier stand style) between Monday and Friday, or a booking for the buffet version on the first Saturday of every month until December, the Sheraton’s partnership with Build-A-Bear and Bear Cottage promises to deliver an un-bear-ably adorable experience - for both little cubs and the big bears bringing them along in the hope of reliving the nostalgic memories of their own childhood.

The celebrations will start with the opportunity to select a Build-A-Bear of your choice, before experiencing a love-filled heart ceremony - where you can make a wish on your newly built bear buddy. Don’t waste it on hoping for a delicious feast because that’s exactly what’s on the menu, at the Teddy Bear High Tea anyway! Expect a delightful (and delicious) spread featuring both sweet and savoury like honey-drizzled chicken karaage, smoked salmon blinis and teddy bear-shaped cupcakes, macarons and the Sheraton’s signature creme brulee infused with rooftop honey.
In addition to the fun of feasting with a furry friend, guests will have the chance to get fuzzy feelings of another kind - with the hotel partnering with Bear Cottage (the only children’s hospice in NSW, to help families of children with life-limiting conditions) and encouraging attendees to donate to the cause.
Prices for the Sheraton Grand Hyde Park x Build-A-Bear High Tea start from $89 per adult (including Build-A-Bear) and $55 per child (aged 4-12) for the Classic High Tea. For more information, visit Sheraton Grand Sydney, Hyde Park.
