Brad Pitt’s award-winning Champagne ‘ER3’ released by allocation in Australia from December 2023 is strictly by registration and allocation.
Once the 150 bottles of ‘Exclusive Rosé 3’ are exhausted, avid Champagne lovers will only be able to access the release at one of the several ‘Friends of Fleur De Miraval’ restaurants in Australia and we have full details below.
In partnership with Fleur De Miravel, Emperor Champagne has today announced the release of the highly anticipated third edition ‘Exclusive Rosé 3’ (ER3), with an ultra-limited release available for purchase via Emperor Champagne this December.
Champagne Fleur De Miraval was formed by the combined skills of Famille Perrin and the Péters family and the artistic vision of Hollywood actor turned wine entrepreneur Brad Pitt. Each year this unique Champagne is crafted using the very best back vintages of Chardonnay, blended with exceptional Grand Cru Pinot Noir to create a rosé masterpiece.
Following the success of last year’s global release, Champagne lovers nationally will have the chance to secure a bottle in this extremely limited allocation by registering online in November on a first-registered, first-allocated basis via emperorchampagne.com.au Once purchased, the pool of successful customers will also become a friend of Fleur De Miraval and will be automatically allocated access to future release bottles.
Co-owner of Fleur De Miraval, Charles Perrin says: "Fleur de Miraval Rosé is the culmination of five years of work, research and tasting done in the utmost secrecy. The ER3 is the essence of balance and delicacy, combining the intensity of the grand crus of the Côte des Blancs and the complexity of its perpetual reserve with immense finesse. We are excited for Australians to experience this incredible product for themselves.”
ER3 is created from a base of the 2018 vintage and presents as an exquisitely delicate pale pink. The blend models the balance between freshness and complexity with an incredible finesse that is delicately lifted by 25% young Pinot Noir from tiny parcels in the terroir of Vertus.
Brad Pitt explains: "For me, Champagne conjures up feelings of celebration, quality, prestige and luxury. I wanted us to try to create the defining brand of rosé Champagne, focusing all our efforts on just this one colour. The result is spectacular and I’m very proud of it.”
On the nose, it offers a superb aromatic bouquet of white flowers, red currant and wild strawberry, before unveiling slightly smoky notes, a sign of the wine’s maturity. The rosé strikes the perfect balance of freshness and vibrancy and with persistent length on the palate – a hallmark attribute of a Grand Cru champagne.
Once the bottles are exhausted across the country, avid Champagne lovers can access the release at Icebergs in Sydney, the Stokehouse in Melbourne and SK Steak & Oyster, Sushi Room and Hellenika in Brisbane's Calile Hotel.
Registrations are now open here and allocations will be announced on December 8 at 12pm.
The allocation release will retail for $699 AUD and the hospitality release via select partner venues will be $1299 AUD.
