Bringing a refreshing take on Mediterranean dining to Melbourne’s inner north, head to Oko on Greeves Street in Fitzroy for a meal to remember. Mixologist Mac Mani delivers cocktails such as the Limoncello Margarita, which taste fresh, tart and like a hug from home.
"The Limoncello Margarita is a simple twist on such an iconic cocktail. The limoncello adds complexity to a basic cocktail, while still pleasing a crowd. Perfectly balanced with the lemon salt rim, it'll leave you wanting more," he tells AGFG.
"The drink is an homage to family, as Oko is a family-owned business. Nona Pasnetti made limoncello as her children and grandchildren grew up, this cocktail gives a Mediterranean twist to a classic."
