Nothing says Spring and Summer more than a Sunday session at your favourite venue with family and friends.
Spend lazy warm days and evenings with a drink in hand and bite to eat as you celebrate the end of the weekend in style – rewind to the 1970s when pubs were only open on Sundays for two short hours, morning and afternoon.
The morning session was inadvertently known as ‘going to church’ and generally occurred around lunchtime, so many pubs started serving outdoor BBQ lunches in their sprawling beer gardens.
However you choose to spend your Sundays, we have something to tempt everyone with this week’s offering from a Chef interview with Watervale Hotel’s Nicola Palmer – who tells us how to nurture nature without the ‘bitch slap’ – to how you can help change the course of vulnerable women’s lives through Two Good Co’s new cookbook.
Don’t miss Laura Rancie’s interview with Danielle Alvarez, Chef, author and newly-appointed Culinary Director of the Opera House and we launch the start of our 2024 Chef Hat season with International Chef Day on Friday, October 20.
