Kirsten Tibballs is a world-renowned Pastry Chef best known
for everything chocolate – so who better than the Queen herself to launch a
book called...Chocolate All Day!
Starring on her own TV show The
Chocolate Queen, with regular appearances on MasterChef Australia, Kirsten is
the founder and director of the Savour School, known for classes, chocolate and
patisserie.
If that’s not enough for a bio, Kirsten was not only the President of the jury for taste at the World Chocolate Masters in Paris, judge
at the Patisserie Grand Prix in Japan and the World Chocolate Masters National
selections in London, she is also the global ambassador for Callebaut.
It’s because of all this that we can confidently say…if you only get your
hands on one chocolate book this year, make it this one. To WIN your very own copy, ENTER NOW on our competitions page. Entries close this weekend, so be quick.
The book contains five chapters including:
1. Crisp, Snap, Crunch
2. Molten, Toasty, Melt-in-the-mouth
3. Playful, Quirky, Out-of-the-mould
4. Creamy, Smooth, Chilled
5. Old-fashioned, Comfort, Classic
However, it is probably the ‘Chocolate Essentials’ pages that really stood out with helpful hints from ‘how to store chocolate’ to ‘why we temper chocolate’ and ‘working with chocolate’.
As for sneak peeks before you head to buy your own copy, here is a recipe from the book you’ll just love, Choc-chip cookie sandwiches with orange ganache.
