La Vie en Rose at The Boathouse Pop-up Rosé Bay

By Marie-Antoinette Issa.

A rose by any other name would still be a rose, but this October, The Boathouse Rose Bay is making things official and transforming into ‘Rosé Bay’.

Kicking off on the first of the month, the picturesque waterfront venue in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs will blossom, with a series of fabulous events where everything comes up, well, roses…

As well as regular Rosé Happy Hour, all day, every day (where you can unwind with exquisite selections from Whispering Angel, Veuve Clicquot, Chandon and Minuty), membership opportunities will be available to join the Whispering Angel Loyalty Club - where guests can score ‘rosé loyalty cards’ and receive a complimentary bottle of Whispering Angel after purchasing five bottles.

Throughout the month, patrons can also stop and smell the roses at the Whispering Angel Car Wash - indulging in a complimentary onsite ‘rosé wash’ between 10 am and 12 pm.

In addition to the above, every Sunday, from October 6 to November 3, rosé-loving revellers can sail away with the Ultimate Bottomless Rosé Experience. For $95 per person, a decadent three-course brunch, followed by bottomless rosé, is probably the closest way to enjoy a proverbial bed of roses, while standing up.

After brunch, those ready to rise (or should that be rosé) to the occasion can head to the Whispering Angel Beach Club on the lower deck (from 4 pm to 8 pm) - which will be all about sips, sunshine and Euro-Summer beach club vibes against a backdrop of coral-coloured skies.

Finally, the month will come full bloom on November 9 with the Ultimate Festival of Rosé - where, from 2 pm to 10 pm, Rosé Bay will transform into a rosé lover’s dream, packed with live DJ sets and endless rosé for a final Spring fling.

Thirsty? Grab your girlfriends, put on a pair of rose glasses and get ready to paint the town err, rosé
