You can help too – just click here to email our PR team and let us know of a new eatery in your suburb so we can inform everyone and help these establishments thrive and survive during rough times.
Time to move over Sydney food trucks…there is a new boy in town - Sri Dakshin Eats can be found at a wide range of events, markets, parties and much more around the city. Without a doubt, food trucks are taking over the fast-food culinary culture and Indian cuisine is at the forefront; this mobile eatery specialises in Southern Indian fare from traditional snacks, light meals and burgers to biryanis.
Why should you drop in for a meal at Sri Dakshin Eats Food Truck? Here are three good reasons:
What’s your most popular dish:
Currently, the trailer has two signature dishes that customers from all over travel to try out:
Pulled Butter Chicken Burger: topped with housemade shredded butter chicken, coriander, mint chutney, lettuce and pickled onions.
Chicken 65: marinated chicken pieces coated with flour, deep-fried then tossed in green chillies and curry leaves.
What's your point of difference:
This is a passion project for our family. We wanted to make Indian food less intimidating and so, our menu is centred on familiar formats with Indian flavours.
It’s time for tacos, bánh mì and burgers to move over because there is a new type of food taking over the landscape of the food truck culture: Indian food. Without a doubt, food trucks are a huge part of culture right now.
What is a fun fact that not many people know about the food truck?
We cater for events large and small. Our food trailer will arrive at your venue and serve a delicious menu of authentic Indian delights to your guests.
We can serve small amounts of family members to crowds of hundreds in one day and offer flavoursome aromas that you won’t find in any other takeaway.
If you do not have room for the food truck, we can accommodate any space, from a large delivery of individual takeaway boxes for guests to setting up live serving stations to allow guests to pick and choose their dishes.
Everything is cooked in-house using the best locally grown ingredients and freshest spices to make these dishes pop and then finished onsite.
We will arrive at least 2 hours before we need to start serving and offer vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes; we will also discuss food allergies and specific dietary requirements at the time of booking.
