Fishing in Eyre Peninsula

A way of life for many who call the Eyre Peninsula home, fishing is what the area is all about, the peninsula known as South Australia's fishing hub. Ceduna and Denial Bay are among some of the more popular fishing destinations, with Coffin and Streaky Bay offering good hauls of squid, yellowtail, snook and trevally. If you're after blue swimmer crab, head to Cowell and for consistent snapper and whiting, Lucky Bay is your destination. For a day on the boat, take to the waters around Port Lincoln and try your luck for southern bluefin tuna or to stay firmly on the ground, why not try rock fishing at Coles Point.
