Chocolate in A Bottle – Ultimate Easter Indulgence + 3 Recipes

Chocolate in a Bottle, a French Sparkling Blanc de Blancs wine infused with the essence of Belgian chocolate and hazelnut, makes for the perfect Easter treat this year.

This sparkling wine is a unique creation by Flemish Sommelier Tom De Bruyn, who collaborated closely with a skilled winemaker near Perpignan in the South of France and together they meticulously crafted this luxurious beverage.

Grapes grown in sandy and slate-rich terrior undergo traditional vinification before being infused with the essence of Belgian chocolate and hazelnut extract.

This has resulted in a wine that captivates the senses with aromas of chocolate and hazelnut, leading to a palate where chocolate initially dominates, gracefully transitioning to the fruitiness of the grapes.

Balanced by crisp acidity and delicate bubbles, this very well-crafted wine is best enjoyed chilled - first in the fridge, then briefly in the freezer or ice bucket to reach the optimal serving temperature of 2-3 C.
