Little Blue Lake

Just got home from a week down at Port Macdonnell..sigh!! On my Journeys of the surrounding areas, I came across the Little Blue Lake. Words cannot explain the feeling that comes over you as jump into the water. At a glance, its a waterhole that you look at in envy on a television show such as "getaway". The water is cold but very refreshing. Best enjoyed on a hot day! I live 4.5 hours from this dream swimming hole and plan to make the trip down there within the month once the weather hits mid 30's again. Oh....after your swim, if your feeling hungry...Go to the BELLUM Hotel on Mt Shank Road, its on your way home pretty much. I love my food and am pretty fussy. I highly recommend the Chicken Parmy!! I had no trouble eating it all even though it almost covered my entire plate. Once I was half way through it, I discovered a pasta salad, potato salad and other goodies on the plate. A great Swimming Hole...An Awesome Meal. I'll be back again and again!! D. Grambeau
