Encompassing some of Australia's most iconic outback scenery, the MacDonnell Ranges stretch for hundreds of kilometres wither side of Alice Springs. Home to many amazing natural attractions such as Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm, Ellery Creek, Big Hole and Ormiston Gorge and Pound, the MacDonnell Ranges are fondly referred to as an outback playground, where bushwalking and four wheel driving upon the fiery red rocky ochre trails are rewarded by cool flowing gorges and breathtaking scenery. An assortment of walking and cycling trails have been made throughout the ranges so if you're feeling adventurous, be sure to jump on a bike and head from Alice Springs to discover a whole new world.
