Macedon Regional Park

Covering most of the surrounding mountain range including part of the Great Dividing Range, Macedon Regional Park is home to over 400 species of native plants and 200 recorded bird species. Including the scenic Mount Macedon, this park dominates the regions skyline, abundant in gum forests, damp gullies and characteristic beauty. At the summit of the mountain, the Top of the Range Tearooms provide a selection of delicious sweet and savoury selections, with the Memorial Cross and manicured gardens a commemoration to the fallen Australian soldiers of the First World War.
