A rim of superb cliffs top the steep timbered ridges and rainforest gullies of Macquarie Pass National Park, a well preserved section of the Illawarra escarpment. Containing a diverse range of rare and threatened plant and animal species, Macquarie Pass National Park makes for excellent bushwalking, with an array of waterfalls and cascades to observe along the trails. A 45 minute walk from the base of Macquarie Pass is Jump Rock, where you can enjoy the pools of clear water and cool off with a swim.
