About Maryborough Art Gallery
The Maryborough Art Group was the original name of the group which began in 1947. The Art Society occupied the Gatakers Building since 1988 when it was made available by Mr. Rollo Nicholson(our present Patron), the great-grandson of Charles Frederick Gataker. The Society is totally run by volunteers as a not for profit community based business. We display not only Members' artwork but enjoy promoting new and exciting public artwork exhibitions throughout the year. Our major exhibition with prizes of over $7,000 is held at the City Town Hall in Maryborough from June to July open to everyone from local artists to those interstate.

10am - 4pm Monday to Friday, 10am - 1pm Weekends closed from December 17th until the January 17th
