About Surfing on the Yorke Peninsula
From hollow beach breaks to powerful reef waves, surfing at Yorke Peninsula caters for all experience levels. The advanced surfer will be challenged with a variety of heavy surf locations, the majority of which have contributed to the peninsula's renouncement as a surfing draw card. Innes National Park boasts a variety of breaks for the experienced surfer, including Chinamans, West Cape, Richards and Pondalowie Bay. Heavy surf is also regularly experienced at Rock Pool, south of Daly Head, with Salmon Hole offering medium surf.
