About Fonzarelli's

When in Surry Hills and looking to step back into the 1950s, keep an eye out for Fonzarelli’s on Foveaux Street. Inspired by the juke box elbowing character from Happy Days, the moodily-lit interior is also rich with influence from the fashion and music of 50s Milwaukee, a theme that continues with a loaded list of spectacular cocktails. For food with soul, Fonzarelli’s has teamed with Mr Gee burgers to serve up weekly specials, including Stoners Revenge, the famous Truffle Burger and more; or wrap your hands around a Windy City dog, with spicy smoked pork frankfurter. To really get into the mood of the era, a Fonzie Fizz cocktail is in order, with caramel Tequila, fresh lime juice, egg white and vanilla sugar syrup – made into a sour that goes against the grain on ‘how to drink Tequila.’

Rocking place
booked a table for 2 on my birthday. The food was great, Rocking tunes made everyone sing and tap their feet. The cocktail were unquestionably awesome, "The Fons and Chuck Berry" Highly recommend. Bar staff aswell as waiters were very friendly and accommodating. Awesome night definitely go again but this time with more friends.

This place rocks! Quite literally too!
Finally got to check this place out with a bunch of work mates for a farewell party. From the time you walk up to the door you're already greeted warmly by the friendly bouncer, top bloke too. Once you walk in you might think it's a bit small but wait until you go downstairs to the basement level which stretches out all the way and has a 2nd bar down there too. They've stuck to the theme pretty well and incorporated it well with the darker style of decor, full of rich mahogany even Ron Burgundy would approve of. Non stop classic rock tunes are heard throughout the bar and the theme continues all the way to the bathroom with the tufted cubicle doors. Lots of effort has gone into creating this place. A must try is the popcorn chicken, smoked paprika potato chunks and the Ashley Pfister footlong hot dog. That's what we ordered anyway and it was a big hit with everyone. Definitely need to come back try the rest of the food as it all looks so good! Big shout out to Phil and everyone there who looked after us over there!
