The views are beautiful, the restaurant was nice and warm on a cold night. Wait staff were very friendly - considering I had a two-year-old occasionally getting off his seat. When I have arrived with a pram, the doors were opened for me - lovely! Out food came, I ordered sticky lamb ribs and my partner, a schnitzeled chicken, and we ordered chicken chucks and chips for the bub. it came fast, and was fresh ad delicious. My only qualm was that the ribs were served in a bowl without a finger-bowl to clean my fingers of the sticky sauce. Generous servings, moderate to high priced food. I am a local and would come back.
Firstly great view, despite the rain, could see most of the city except for a car parked right outside the restaurant windows. I ordered a medium rare sirloin, and was served a well done rump. Not sure if the chef was being funny, but i do know the difference between a NewYork and Rump. Hubby ordered pork ribs, which he said were very tough and portion size was not very large considering the generous prize tag. Management seemed to be very understaffed, as only one waitress was clearing tables and it took 45 minutes for our meals to arrive, although it wasn't very busy. The chef was quite rude we could see when we ordered, his attitude to his workers and customers was disgraceful and appalling. Will not be returning.
Great food, good value, amazing view. Restaurant itself pretty plain, but at the end of the day it's all about the view (and of course the food). Definitely one to go back to
