About Black Bird
They say bird is the word and putting the phrase into action is trendy eatery Black Bird, flying the coop of Adelaide’s food scene by creating a fierce following for their own inventive cuisine. This humble corner store shopfront is unmistakable with black bubble font signage and Edison bulb lighting lining the roof top, inviting guests to enter a relaxed space styled with intimate table settings, a feature bar tiled in smart white and a corner open-air kitchen, filling the space with aromatics. The menu is entirely based around a rotisserie, which is heated by charcoal, offering simple dishes that are executed boldly with punchy, statement flavours. Try the beef brisket, which has been rubbed with mustard, celery powder, caraway and coriander seeds, with a side of black rice risotto.

Amazing Taste, Loveable food.
Cannot believe that small place have a wonderful taste and flavour. Delicious Food.
Delicious, cosy atmosphere, friendly owners, well priced
A wide range of cuisines are creatively blended to form delicious meals, complemented by a small but well balanced wine list of excellent labels. Cosy, welcoming atmosphere and helpful, friendly owners enhanced the experience. The restaurant was full on the night we visited; fortunately we had the foresight to book in advance. Blackbird will become a ‘go to’ restaurant for us, and we will recommend it to people from near and far.
