I had Valentines day at cafe del mar, great value and amazing food, Staff so friendly and knowlegable, will go back again, great place for a romantic catch up
Love the food here, amazing view and great service staff are super friendly and helpful. a very relaxing place to have afternoon cocktails as well.
Had a tasty dinner and the service is good but it was unbelievably noisy and we couldn't have a conversation because the music is so loud. A venue which cannot decide if it's a fine dining establishment (prices are on the high end) or a rave party.
Fabulous! I took a couple of friends from overseas and we'll all be back. We had a lot of catching up to do so when the waiter suggested a 'share plate' it seemed the perfect idea. We started with the Watermelon, marinated fetta , Jamon Serrano & Charmoula chicken, betel leaves, both were refreshing & very delicious. We then shared the Baked Red Emperor, saffron and fennel confit + had a side of Steamed broccolini, parsley, lemon, parmesan & Pommes frites. Perfect suggestion by our waiter! Add a bottle of bubbles, gorgeous winter sunshine & a great view & you have the perfect catch up lunch with the chix.
Finally got to Cafe del Mar. Work close by and whited to see what everyone was raving about. The Venue is so beautiful, it was a great place to spend lunch and the express lunch was such great value. The stand out was the salt and paper squid in black ink. See you next time.
What an amazing venue, nothing else in Sydney like it, the food and the friendly staff made our visit one to remember.. I recommend highly the slow cooked lamb shoulder.. The best I've tried in Sydney
