About Da Guido La Pasta

Located in the Italian quarter of Lygon Street, Da Guido La Pasta takes you to Italy from the heart of Carlton. Operated by a family with more than 40 years restaurant experience both in Italy and Down Under, expect a warm and authentic vibe of white-washed brick walls, leadlight pendents and an open kitchen giving a glimpse of the Chefs in action. To ensure genuine Venetian taste and style, dishes are prepared by Chefs trained in the homeland; expect starters like pan-fried octopus, purple potato mash, pickled capers and salsa verde. For the main affair, opt for black squid ink linguine with garlic, olive oil, mild chilli, prawns, clams, parsley and white sauce, or braised chicken, olives, tomato sauce, carrots, potatoes and capsicum. Dark chocolate fondant and cream entice to finish.

Quality Italian food, fancy service, but reasonable price Da Guido Melbourne ??

Lygon a little italy????, this hidden gem in the area also very competitive, specially all their homemade pasta with grandma's recipe, not lose by any popular restaurant??

Insalata di calamari $33, grill calamari cooked perfectly, not dry at all.??

Agnolotti al Nero di Seppia $39, Black Squid ink ravioli filled with clams, king prawns?? and snapper??, in creamy basil sauce& citrus zest??, the best ever??

Fettuccine alla Genovese $34, slow-cooked pulled beef cover all over the pasta??
