Grotto on Edward

On Norwood’s Edward Street, is a destination for the many fans of tantalising thin crusted pizza, Grotto on Edward. The cosy setup of mahogany furnishings, very Italian espresso machines and hat racks, creates a warm and casual atmosphere, borrowing elements from both pizza bars and relaxed restaurants. Hungry visitors are funnelled in off the busy Parade strip, after catching a movie at the nearby cinema or enjoying a walk around Rymill Park. A Brasilia coffee is a good idea while browsing the menu, before sampling a King Edward, sprinkled with garlic King prawns, spring onion, bacon, rocket and chilli oil, or perhaps The Athenian with rosemary lamb, tzatziki, Swiss brown mushrooms, feta and rigani. For something different, there’s the Confit Duck Quacker with broccoli and plum sauce.
