Hobba
About Hobba
A few words from Hobba
The Wolf Pack Burger: Wagyu beef patty, brioche bun, iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion, American cheddar, pickles and Hobba boom sauce, served with a side of beer-battered chips.
When seeking somewhere in Prahran to eat between, during and even after meals, head to Hobba on Malvern Road. Formally an old tyre factory, Hobba's interior sports a tin roof with exposed brick walls and high wooden rafters, while booths, stainless steel trimmings and a cosy outdoor dining area add to the industrial charm. This all-day eatery and bar makes it easy to unwind amid good company and food, with a menu offering small and large plates to curb all appetites. Think breakfast plates like a crab and goats' cheese omelette with lemon chive butter, fennel salad and caramelised pear dressing; while lunch-goers opt for fried chicken and buttermilk waffles, maple butter, bacon and fried egg. Perhaps a poké bowl tempts with rice, trout, vegetables, edamame, kimchi, avocado and miso mayo.
