I had the best authentic Italian this in this lovely Italian restaurant in Hawthorn
Osteria 20 literally made me feel like I am again vacationing in Italy. It’s nice to have this touch of Italy not too far from home. They serve the best seafood pasta I’ve ever tasted. Their Linguine Pescatore is insanely delicious. All my favorite seafoods are there. The pasta is al dente and everything else is seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend having your meals at Osteria 20. It is an awesome Italian restaurant in Hawthorn!
The best restaurant option east of the Yarra
Ken Haley. I have lived in Hawthorn for 7 years and eat out nearly every night (my cooking skills could be listed on a postage stamp). In this time I've dined at nearly every one of the wide range of restaurants near my home. None comes close to the high standard of Osteria20, where an innovating menu of delicious fare is constantly complemented by friendly service from staff who are clearly happy to come to work. I am losing count of how many times I've brought friends here to enjoy a midday meal or a night to remember. Sometimes we form a small party, sometimes it's just the two of us, but Giuseppe, Frank, Costa, Delphine, chef Marc and indeed everyone at Osteria is just as welcoming whether it's a special occasion or I just wish to while away half an hour over a cappuccino. Once upon a time, Italian meant Lygon Street; today, and heading into the 2020s, it's Glenferrie Road. And you only have to remember one address: 818.
Excellent service and perfect food
Had a Birthday function for a group of young girls. The staff were extremely attentive and provided the utmost exceptional service. Advised there were vegans in the group and they went out of their way to cater for them. The food was delicious and setting faultless. Thanks Osteria20 for a memorable night.
