Best food in the Illawarra
On my 3rd visit tonight we enjoyed our evening as much as ever. High quality, authentic, delicious, generous portions, unbeatable flavour, jus properly and painstakingly prepared, amazing friendly and professional service. I shouldn’t have had dessert because I was so full but wow, I’m glad I did. It was of the same high quality as the rest of the meal. The ambiance is perfect, we were able to hear ourselves talk, there was an air of relaxing calm and on a freezing cold windy night it was cosy and warm. I wish the chef the very best because he and his team cannot do any better, they’re tops in our book. I look forward to my next occasion there.
Six of us dined on this occasion (16th Dec)
All our meals were simply delicious. Attention to detail was excellent. Chef Daniel is outstanding in the kitchen and so courteous at the same time. We have dined here a few times and have never been disappointed. Wonderful service!
Best Place To Dine In The Illawarrah - By Far
My wife and I frequently visit this restaurant, usually on a busy Friday or Saturday night. The restaurant itself is modern, crisp and clean. It offers a peaceful environment where conversation is able to flourish. The greeting, usually by the owners, Deanne or Daniel, is courteous and friendly even when busy. Seating maybe outside (heating provided when necessary) or inside. Plenty of space and yet, still intimate. The wine list is a connoisseur's guide to the finest wines of Australia, selected by the owners. The menu provides delicious food crafted by hand, using local produce I think, by a perfectionist, personally, for his customers. The skill, workload and dedication to his craft sometimes precludes him from talking with customers, but the quality of food is so high, this is an acceptable occasional sacrifice. The presentation of the dishes is exemplary and sets a new standard. It is a special restaurant, a bit expensive, but still good value, which I would highly recommend.
